Marketing/ Communications Specialist

 

(Full-time or Part-Time)

 

Job Description:

The Marketing/ Communications Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of outbound marketing activities, as well as various communication functions for existing clients, including:

  • Assist in the development and execution of our online marketing strategy for business development and lead generation
  • Assist in developing and implementing our PR strategy
  • Compile & deliver relevant communications via newsletters, email blasts, social media
  • Manage website content and design, working with web designer
  • Work closely with our internal team to facilitate timely, productive communications to inform & educate clients, including time sensitive compliance updates
  • Manage the quality control and production of employee benefits materials
  • Assist in the creation of marketing and sales presentations and proposals
  • Develop systems & best practices for timely, accurate, automated communications to clients and client employees

 

Qualifications:

  • B.A/B.S in Communication, Journalism, Media, Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Passionate, intelligent & positive person with the desire to learn, contribute and succeed
  • Proven document design and formatting experience, especially using Microsoft Office and Adobe tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • Strong team player to work with all staff members, partners and clients

Account Executive – Employee Benefits

 

(Full-time or Part-Time)

 

Job Description:

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with current clients and prospective clients to create and deliver value
    • HR Directors/ Managers/ Administrators
    • Owners/Executives
  • Deliver strategic advice and guidance on employee benefits plans, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, FSA, HSA, and other ancillary benefits
  • Manage benefits planning, contract renewals and Open Enrollment for specific clients
  • Provide 2nd level support to specific clients or employees on key benefits issues
  • Assist in the marketing, qualification, and consultative selling to close new business opportunities, including preparation and delivery of proposals
  • Work closely with our internal team to facilitate timely, productive communications to inform & educate clients, including time sensitive compliance updates

 

Qualifications:

  • Smart, positive, self-starter, with the desire to learn, contribute and succeed
  • Good working knowledge of employee benefits and market, including renewal cycle, underwriting, and open enrollment dynamics
  • 5+ years employee benefits/insurance experience preferred
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent combination of education & experience
  • Active CA Life & Health insurance license
  • Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Solid technology skills, including MS office platform and related tools

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, naturally curious person to join our growing team as an Analyst for both Health Benefits and 401k Retirement Plans.  This is a great opportunity for a young person to enter and learn the employee benefits industry, with a clear growth path into more senior positions. Working closely with our team of Senior Consultants and Account Managers, this individual will serve a key role in our efforts to maximize value for clients. The ideal person is flexible to contribute in various ways; thrives in a highly-analytical environment; works well with deadlines; and enjoys working on multiple projects at once.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong team player, with good independent work habits
  • Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks
  • Strong skills with MS Excel
  • Proven analytical, process management & math skills
  • Solid technology skills, including MS office platform and related tools

  • Some accounting/ financial analysis or equivalent experience preferred

Primary Functions:

  • Actively work as part of the team to deliver accurate, timely, complete projects
  • Prepare health benefit quotes, plan comparisons, and cost analysis for existing & new clients
  • Assist in the ongoing management and oversight of client 401k plans
  • Assist in the implementation of new health benefit and 401k plans
  • Create and maintain templates used for cost comparison, analysis and benchmarking
  • Assist in crafting high quality, detailed deliverables for current clients
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and related providers
  • Assist with internal projects to improve client experience and internal workflows
