Alene is an experienced marketing and communications professional with decades of success and experience across technology-driven companies and non-profit organizations. Alene began her career at Apple Computer, where she developed a strong foundation in marketing principles and strategies. She went on to hold marketing and communications leadership positions with high-growth internet start-ups, non-profit organizations, and Fortune 500 corporations. Alene joined Mindshare Group in 2022 after serving as marketing communications director with a California-based non-profit, which presented her with meaningful opportunities and new insights through this purpose-driven work.

Alene is a very proud mom of twin daughters, who work and live in New York City and Houston. During her “empty nest” years, in her new home state of Washington, Alene and her husband enjoy hiking, biking, and walking in and around the beautiful Seattle area. She would like everyone to know that, despite the rumors, it really does not rain every day.
