Amy is a trusted People leader and strategic advisor with over 20 years of experience building thoughtful, scalable HR foundations for early-stage and high-growth companies. She brings a rare blend of big-company infrastructure expertise and hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves execution that resonates especially well with growing businesses.


Throughout her career, Amy has helped organizations scale intentionally—designing people programs that align business strategy with culture, talent development, and operational excellence. She has led and built People functions at innovative companies, including Modern Health, Quizlet, and Twitter, guiding teams through rapid growth, organizational redesign, leadership transitions, and complex workforce changes.


Amy specializes in building foundational people infrastructure—compensation philosophy and job architecture, performance management, benefits strategy, HR systems, compliance, and operational workflows—while never losing sight of the human impact behind every decision. She is known as a direct, empathetic, and pragmatic partner to founders and leadership teams, bringing clarity to complexity and structure to moments of change.


As an advisor, Amy focuses on helping small and growing businesses create practical, sustainable people strategies that support both business performance and employee experience. Amy holds a B.S. in Human Development from UC Davis. As an SF Bay Area native, Amy enjoys spending time with her extended family, which usually involves baking & cooking, wine, coffee, hiking, and all sorts of games.
